Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g users have yet another reason to look for other options since Adobe discontinued support for Flash player from December 31, 2020. Adobe also blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player starting January 12, 2021. Oracle announced that OBIEE 11g (11.1.1.7) users should migrate to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server, or OBIEE 12c (12.2.1.4 minimum) which uses HTML5 (instead of Flash) as the default.
